The 2006 Miss Asia International
pageant
will be held in Beijing with the theme "beauty in Asia, unfold in China". This is the first time for China to host this pageant. A press conference of the event was held at the Great Hall of the People on May 18. It is learned that the China International Cultural Spread Center (CICSC) and the Soba International are authorized by the American International Chamber of Commerce (AICC), the international official organization of the competition, to hold the 2006 Miss Asia International in Beijing.
