Criteria
Any applicant for membership in the American International Chamber of Commerce (AICC) - company, NGO or individual - which otherwise complies with the AICC Statutes, may be granted a regular AICC membership by the Board of Directors, if it meets at least one of the following criteria:
- US-based company or US citizen
or other foreign citizen
- Company listed on the major International Stock Exchanges
- Registered company in all the country
- Registered company with at least 1 % US participation
- Locally registered company which distributes or is the exclusive representative of a US company's goods or services
- US-based franchise
- Other*
* The eligibility for AICC membership of other applicant (company, NGO or individual) depends on the Board's case-to-case decision. Even though it may not meet any of the above listed criteria, the applicant can still be a subject to further investigation by the Board of Directors. If the Board deems the applicant one of strategic importance to the AICC members, the Board can approve the candidate on this ground .

The Membership Category is determined by the Board of Directors of the American International Chamber of
Commerce upon consideration of the application for membership.
The annual membership fee entitles you to membership in the AICC for the coming 12 months. Membership start date is considered as of the first of the month following approval by the AICC Board of Directors. New members will be sent formal letters of acceptance. Applicants for membership are kindly requested to make payments upon receipt of the formal letter of acceptance.
